Scott McLaughlin (born 10 June 1993) is a motor racing driver from Hamilton, New Zealand, currently competing in the New Zealand V8 touring car series and who currently competes for the Stone Brothers Racing in the 2011 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series. He is the youngest person to ever race a V8 supercar.[1]
McLaughlin won his first Race in the New Zealand V8 touring car series early 2011, becoming the youngest ever driver to win a race in the Championship at just 17 years old.[2]

Scott McLaughlin in 2010 confirmed that he would be racing for Stone Brothers Racing in the 2010 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series at the young age of just 16, When Scott was going to make his debut there was a little problem so Kiwi Racer John McIntyre stepped into the #93 Falcon and Scott McLaughlin jumped back in for Queensland in Round 2.
Scott McLaughlin recently confirmed that he will be driving in the new New Zealand Touring Car Series starting in 2012, Scott will be Racing against such famous Kiwi drivers as Greg Murphy, Craig Baird, John McIntyre, Daniel Gaunt and other successful drivers. Scott will be driving for his own team and will be driving in a Holden Commodore VE in the 2012 Season of V8 SuperTourers 2012 Series
